IT IS GETTING HORRIBLE TRAFFIC. My site (3 months old) has 9 members. None of them are even regulars. What is happening?

Quite possibly the reason for this is the fact that tere are a good deal of forums out there like Simple Machines or PHPBB that can do SO much more than Invisionfree...I mean IPB alone as a purchased product is pretty decent, but if it's free forums you're looking for, I'd have to say stick with the best of the best.

People are turned down when they here FREE unless it is for them. Is that what you are saying? If so i agree with you.

use smf if its free! smfforfree4.com lol there ACP has gotten a lot better and i was just saying stuff lol

I have used that...the ACP is a living nightmare.

ACP is a living nightmare, you should see the SMF ACP(not the smfforfree thing)

Anyway, I do think that you either didn't do enough advertising. Infact, I would have suggested you go to a forum, make friends, and THEN advertise.

AEF is a new free forum that is now available and is quite nice. I've set it up on a site before and was pretty easy. It also looks very professional.

The new phpBB 3 blows them all away.
Personally, I hate invisionfree.
I think they are lousy, and charge about $50 for a mysql dump of less than 10k posts.

They're out to make a profit, not provide a service, which imo isn't very good.

I agree phpBB3 is the best free and VB is the best free.

Yea phpbb 3 is the best free software (since all other free are correctly in beta lol).
