I want to buy a domain. Is there any way I can buy it by myself, and not through companies (I have heard about frauds) and do I need to buy or rent webhosting space even if I have a FTP software and desgning my website by Microsoft Publisher?

A domain itself does nothing. When you add in a DNS server, a domain can provide a mapping of that name to an IP address.A domain name is an address while web hosting is the space.Web hosting provides that server, its network connection, its configuration, and its upkeep. You just need to upload your site to the server and configure your email via an online account control panel. When you register a domain, it gives you sole ownership and rights to the name of your site.

Web hosting provides the server, its network connection, its configuration, and its upkeep.A domain name is a common network name under which a collection of network devices are organized.Web hosting provides their own website accessible through the web.Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called co location.

A web hosting is normally known as a service that provides web server, along with its network connecting, configuration, and its maintainance. You just need to upload your site to the server and configure your email via an online account control panel.Comparing to home these two terms can be defined as home address in the domain name and the space inside the home is the web hosting service.

Newbies will confused with this terms domain and webhosting.A domain name, is like the address of your home.Web hosting on the other hand, is the space of your house where you place your furniture. It is the main difference between them. With hosting, computer hard disk and computer memory are used for storing as well as processing data files. The top level domains are the highest level of domain names on internet.

Registering the domain gives sole ownership and rights to the name of the site. No one else has access to the actual name of the domain and it is taken off the market.Web hosting provides that server, its network connection, its configuration, and its upkeep. You just need to upload your site to the server and configure your email via an online account control panel. The scope of the hosting service varies directly.Hosting up time refers to the percentage of time the host is accessible via the internet.
