What do you guys think the advantages and disadvantages of yahoo is compared to other big search engines like google.

I personally think that yahoo search isn't to great and the results that pop up sometimes are fairly poor. But, I do think that the different services that yahoo offers are pretty cool and give them an upper hand. Yahoo has stocks, fantasy sports, groups, and much much more.

What do you guys think?

I am not really sure why yahoo is not as popular as google, and I dont know why I dont use yahoo. I think since google has been the most popular search engine, people just start using google all the time without even thinking about it.

They are way too complicated, If they were as simple as Google then they would have been great

well i found one advantage of yahoo over google due to its less popularity.

google still list my sites backlink's as 13 but yahoo has 1100+ backlinks for my site. and it seems to get instant backlink updation.

I do not really focus on Yahoo much. Then again I dont do much with search engines. I focus on building links, and social bookmarking.

it is the popularity of Google that make it first now . as of yahoo i use only its mail

Yahoo mail is not half the system that Gmail is.
