Default Pagerank going down ? - 10-31-2008, 06:38 AM

Nowadays my pagerank have been going downwards. I don't know the reason for it. It has dropped from 3 down to 2. Anyone here else been affected the same ? Do I require to keep the SEO on my site to build it up again. I also want to know that will it affect my position in Google pages when people use keywords to find my website. Does keyword density plays any role in this ? I think I asked too much. Sorry.. Any help regarding this would be great. Thanks.

Default When websites disapear, so does your inbound links - 11-05-2008, 06:23 PM

Your page rank might go down if you lose dome inbound links from other sites, which happens for a variety of reasons. Adding new pages or content to your site won't cause a drop in page rank, unless, the new content is what causes other sites to remove their links to your site. And that happens. If you had any rented links that expired that could certainly cause a drop in PR, if those links passed PR. Please contact us for further assistance.

I think the quality of your site content also influence Pr.Google has said repeatedly that they will find a way to penalize sites selling links maybe it was not the everybody keeps calling it and they were actually serious. Paid links are the obvious culprit, though it’s an interesting list of sites.Paid Linking,Mass Linking are the main reasons that Google change the page rank.If Paid Linking houses use page rank as a pricing metric, then eliminating or devaluing page rank will devalue paid linking. Thanks for the time.
